New in Lewes, DE
While Lewes is a town steeped in history, it is also a place where things are always happening. Just in the past few months, we've welcomed two new restaurants and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of yet another just steps away from our front doors. Check out our reviews and highlights from each one before you come to visit and check them out for yourself!
Station on Kings
720 Kings Highway, Lewes DE
Station on Kings features a relaxing atmosphere in their greenhouse and delicious and unique dishes. Coming soon to the property is a full plant shop for visitors to enjoy as well. Fresh baked goods complement the full coffee bar serving everything from shops of espresso to lattes. After a lunch (or brunch!), enjoy shopping home decor and food items in their shop. The fresh honeycomb is a particular favorite! Station on Kings is just a short 7-10 minute bike ride away through downtown Lewes and a perfect stop for a bite to eat and refreshments after touring our downtown gardens.
The Wheelhouse
7 Anglers Road, Lewes DE
Right up the street from the Lewes House is the newly opened Wheelhouse restaurant. With familiar bar food including local fresh seafood and live music, the Wheelhouse is a great place to spend some time during the nicer weather. There is ample deck and bar space to enjoy with a larger group of friends. The grapefruit crush is one of the best in the area and very refreshing! With a few months under their belts, they have all the kinks worked out and are ready for a busy summer season. Enjoy the waterside views and sunshine with a cold drink in your hand and some delicious snacks! The Wheelhouse is so close, you can bike or just walk to it right from the Lewes House.

Just steps away from our front door, we are excited to see what this new eatery will bring to the table, literally! With special attention to gluten-free and vegan diets, we look forward to a unique and robust menu. Of course, being a steakhouse they are advertising a wide variety of steaks and cuts as well as fresh seafood options and more. There isn't a solid open-date on the books, but we are excited to welcome a new neighbor and dining option to the neighborhood, hopefully this summer!
